Here is a short walk through of what you can expect for your experience with us. We want to make your experience one that you will never forget.
The Pre- Design Consultation
Upon contacting us for a session, you will receive our product investment guide and we will then have a pre-design consultation that may take place via phone call or through email. During this phone or email conversation, we will discuss small details of your session. We will talk color palette, wardrobe, who will be involved and ultimately your vision for your artwork and schedule your Design Consultation.
Meet with Shemika of Aria Rose Photography
After a few days, I will invite you to our home studio to design your session. Upon arriving at our studio, you will be welcomed with snacks and your session design board that I have customized based off of our pre-design consultation. I will show you the ideas I have come up with and we will work together to change things if necessary and finalize all the details. Every session includes 1 wardrobe item with matching accessories. Maternity sessions include up to 2 wardrobes. If for some reason, you that you prefer something different than the wardrobe offered, we have the ability to rent wardrobe from various designers for an additional fee. If you prefer, may also provide your own wardrobe. To complete the Fine Art look we highly recommend having hair and makeup done. If you do not have a hair and makeup artist in mind, we offer this service through Jennifer Serra Beauty as an add on.
The day is finally here! If you have added hair and makeup service to yours session, we ask that you arrive 45 mins before your session time. If you have not added hair and makeup please arrive 15 mins before your session time. Once you arrive, we will briefly go over the session details once more before having you or your child get dressed.
Proofing and Ordering Appointment
Approximately 2-3 days after your session, we will have a proofing appointment. This appointment is designed for you to chose your favorite images and choose which collection you would like to purchase. 50% of the total amount of your product purchase is due at the time of your proofing appointment. 7-14 days after your proofing appointment, you will be asked to the studio one last time for your final portrait reveal. It is at this appointment where we finalize your product purchase with the choosing of images for your products. The remaining 50% is due at this appointment. *Payment plans are available. No products will be ordered until the payment plan is complete.
*Please note: The Creation fee (also referred to as the session fee) includes the artist's time and talent, wardrobe from our exclusive client closet, consultations and your proofing/ordering appointment. It does NOT include cost of digital files, wall art, and heirloom albums. The creation fee is non-refundable but is transferable to a later available date.
